Xinventa - The name says it all

The name Xinventa, a combination of the words "extra" and "to invent" - in the sense of "unique thinking" - is the program for our work.

Solving complex problems in an enterprise is only to a small part a question of programming knowledge. In the beginning, there is the competent problem analysis, then a comprehensive concept - and in this phase the afore-mentioned innovative thinking comes in.

But with that the problem solving at Xinventa isn't done yet; instead, it's supposed to lead to the implementation of a prototype or a product.

History

The Xinventa GmbH was founded 2006 by Dr. Thomas Cotting and Dr. Leo Felber with the goal of providing a platform for the joined development projects of itarco ag and Tangarena Engineering AG.

As a first step in the end of the year 2006 the batch transaction processing framework bmap4j was given to the open source community and the Batch Repository was launched commercially.

Through continual development, in 2010 version 2 of bmap4j and Batch Repository with much improved functionality could be presented.

Another support pillar is the further development of the ERP solutions of the by now biggest privately held livestock trade firm in switzerland that were developped since the early eighties by Leo Felber when he was a student.

And, last but not least, in time various smaller products around Java EE joined the portfolio.
